Talaria
UI/UX & Web
The Talaria app was designed to accompany participants of a study conducted by the Institute of Motion Science at the University of Münster. The ongoing project follows people who sprained their ankle throughout their recovery.
The main functions of the app include:
⦁ Custom daily exercises of varying difficulties
⦁ Information about ankle inversion trauma and the recovery process
⦁ Regular check-ups and assessments of the functionality of the ankle to measure improvement
⦁ Visualisation of achieved progress
In Roman mythology Talaria is the name of the messenger god Hermes' flying sandals. The winged ankle is meant to represent the freedom to move that this project assists people in regaining.
Disclaimer: The illustrations used in this stage of the design process are stock images and were not created by myself. This project was however a major motivation for me to learn about 3D illustration and animation.
