Prevent Waste Alliance

The PREVENT Waste Alliance connects global actors from business, science, and government institutions who are committed to waste prevention, recycling, and the circular economy. The focus is on plastic waste, organic waste, and electronic waste. The project is funded by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

My first major project as an intern at the advertising agency Glow was to develop a website redesign concept for the PREVENT Waste Alliance (PWA). I created a new visual design in the form of click dummies based on the updated corporate design guidelines, using circular elements as a central design feature. These symbolize the planet Earth, international collaboration, and the circular economy. In close coordination with the client and the creative team, I optimized all subpages according to the new design, starting with the homepage. Additionally, I designed a clearer structure for the subpages through sitemaps and flowcharts.
